We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncology Physician for a locum opportunity with a respected academic health system in York, Pennsylvania. 🏥✨

This role offers a balanced mix of OR time, outpatient clinic, inpatient coverage, and call responsibilities, with strong APP and resident support in a collaborative academic environment. 🎓🤝

🗓️ Schedule & Coverage

• 📅 Start: Mid July 2026
• 📆 Duration: July – January (ongoing contract)
• 🧭 Coverage: ~1 week per month
  • ⚠️ Includes special block: Sept 19 – Oct 9 (3-week need)
• 🕘 Day schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (varies by OR/clinic day)
• 🏥 OR + Clinic weekdays (Monday–Friday)
• 📞 Weekend 24-hour call coverage required
• 🤝 APPs take first-call after hours

🩺 Clinical Responsibilities

• 🏥 Gynecologic oncology surgical care in OR
• 🧾 Outpatient clinic management
  • 👩‍⚕️ ~15–20 patients/day in clinic
• ⚕️ Inpatient rounding and consult support
• 🚨 After-hours and weekend call coverage
• 🧪 Coordination of complex oncology care plans
• 🎯 Collaboration with multidisciplinary cancer care teams

🏥 Practice Environment

• 👨‍⚕️ 1 Gynecologic Oncologist + 3 APPs
• 🧑‍⚕️ 2 Medical Assistants onsite
• 🎓 Academic teaching environment with resident involvement
• 🏥 Ambulatory Surgery Center access
• 🏨 Hospital-based and clinic-based care integration
• 💻 EMR: Epic

📌 Requirements

• 🎓 Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• 🪪 Active Pennsylvania license required (or IMLC LOQ accepted)
• 💳 DEA required
• 🧠 Experience in high-acuity oncologic surgical care preferred
• 🤝 Ability to work in academic teaching environment with residents
