We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncologist to join a premier, physician-led team in Colorado Springs. You will be supported by a GynOnc dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologists, and GYN-specialized Pathologists.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Location: Colorado Springs, CO.

Patient Volume: 15–22 patients per day (Primarily outpatient).

Charting: Epic EMR.

  • Salary: $495,000 – $550,000 annually (DOE) + quality/productivity bonuses.

Job Responsibilities

-Provide specialized Gynecologic Oncology care at a Level I Trauma Center (368 beds).
-Perform advanced surgical procedures utilizing the da Vinci XI system.
-Collaborate with an integrated support team including pelvic physical therapy, cancer nutrition, and counseling.
-Engage in clinical research trials and access the University of Colorado School of Medicine Tumor Board.
-Optional opportunities for teaching medical students.

Qualifications

-Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology Required.
-Education: Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology (must be completed prior to start) Required.
-Licensure: Active Colorado Medical License (or willing to obtain) and DEA Required.
-Experience: Open to 2024 graduating fellows; clean malpractice history preferred.
-Compliance: Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days active) required at submission.
-Restrictions: Permanent placement only; no Locums or Visa candidates (J1/H1B).

Working Hours

-Shifts: Standard weekday hours; weekends required only when on call.
-Call: Shared 1:2 rotation. Call is manageable as Hospitalists handle most admissions (consults only).

Skills

High proficiency in robotic-assisted surgery (da Vinci XI).

-Strong background in outpatient and inpatient management of gynecological malignancies.
-Ability to thrive in a large, multidisciplinary physician-led medical group of 650+ physicians.
