GYN/Oncology Surgeon Locums | Baltimore | 7–12 Days/Month

Aya Locums is seeking a GYN/Oncology Surgeon for ongoing locum tenens coverage in Baltimore, Maryland. This role is ideal for physicians looking for a flexible monthly commitment with significant call responsibilities and strong daytime support.

Assignment Details

• Location: Baltimore, MD

• Specialty: GYN/Oncology Surgery

• Schedule: 7–12 days per month (minimum 7)

• Call: On call for at least half of the assigned days; some stretches may be 4 days or 1 week straight

• Primary Duties:

  • Daytime consults

  • Night call coverage

  • OR back-up support for OB/GYN when complex cases arise

• Patient Volume: Consult-based; volume varies

• Procedures: None beyond typical GYN/Oncology credentialed scope

Support Structure

• Daytime APP: Tuesday–Friday

• Office staff for case posting & scheduling

• MAs, nurse navigators, and clinic support for urgent patients

• Occasional resident assistance (varies—some nights may be first-call)

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified GYN/Onc

• Active Maryland Medical License (required; no licensing support)

Clean background (required for credentialing)
