Job description
A permanent, full-time Gynecologic Oncology Physician opportunity is available in Colorado Springs, CO. The physician will join a high-volume practice with a strong referral base and extensive ancillary support, serving adult patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Nurse Navigators, Radiation Oncologists, and Pathologists specialized in gynecological oncology.
• Participate in shared 1:2 call schedule, primarily consult-based.
• Engage in clinical research trials with opportunities to offer them to patients.
• Utilize advanced technology including the da Vinci XI surgical system and EPIC EMR.
Qualifications
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology – Required.
• Active Colorado medical license or willingness to obtain – Required.
• DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) – Required.
• Clean malpractice record preferred.
• Must be U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Visa sponsorship not available).
Working Hours
• Call shared 1:2, weekends only while on call.
• Approximately 15–22 patients per day.
• 90-day credentialing timeline.
Skills
• Proficiency with robotic-assisted surgery (da Vinci XI).
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Research-oriented with interest in clinical trials.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
