Immediate Need: Locum Laborist for 24-Hour Call Coverage
Location: Hospital Setting with Level II Nursery and Level III Trauma Center
Schedule:
- 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, including weekends
- Ongoing sporadic coverage due to scheduling needs
Reason for Coverage:
- Significant reduction in OB/GYN physician availability over the past year
Facility Details:
- Beds: 10
- Practice Composition: 5 physicians (3 full-time, 2 part-time who only take calls)
- Supervision: The locum will supervise other healthcare providers
Facility Features:
- Onsite laboratory and ultrasound equipment
Patient Care Mix:
- 70% low-risk pregnancies
- 30% high-risk pregnancies
- 40% gynecological care
Daily Operations:
- Average of 2-3 GYN surgeries per day
- 35% of deliveries are C-sections
- Average of 3 nursery admissions per day
