MercyOne North Iowa is urgently looking for a Locum Laborist to start ASAP!
Details:
- Schedule: 24 hour call from 7a - 7a. Weekends as needed. Sporadic ongoing coverage.
- Reason for Coverage: significant decrease within last year for OB/GYN physician coverage.
- Call Ratio: varies
- Total Number of Beds: 10
- Number of Physicians in Practice: 5; 3 full time and 2 part time. Part time only take call, no clinic coverage.
- Will the Locums be responsible for supervising other healthcare providers?: YES
- Onsite Lab: Yes
- Onsite Ultrasound: Yes
- Percentage of Low Risk Pregnancy: 70%
- Percentage of High Risk Pregnancy: 30%
- Percentage of GYN: Current state is 40%
- Average Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day: 2-3
- Percentage of Patients for C-Section: 35%
- Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 3
- Lvl. II Nursery
