The Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida is coordinating with a large, tri-county pediatric multispecialty group for the recruitment of a geneticist. The new geneticist will be the first in the area and will support several exciting programs, including the Marfan and Connective Tissue Disease Center, Cystic Fibrosis Center, Pediatric Cancer Program, Fetal Diagnostics, Neonatal Intensive Care, and the Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute. The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute is internationally recognized for limb lengthening and deformity correction. The hospital and physician group are involved in the training of medical students and residents and participate in numerous clinical research studies.

Palm Beach Children’s Hospital at St. Mary’s Medical Center is the only dedicated Children’s Hospital between Orlando and Ft. Lauderdale. This 142- bed hospital includes 24/7 pediatric emergency and Level I Trauma care. Specialty services include a Level III NICU, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Acute Rehabilitation, The Paley Orthopedic and Spine Institute, Pediatric General Surgery and Pediatric and Neonatal Transport Teams. Outpatient centers include Concussion Treatment, Cystic Fibrosis and Long Term Oncology. In-house Pediatric Intensivists and Hospitalists work with area Pediatricians to care for children while staying at PBCH. .Palm Beach Children’s Hospital has earned many prestigious awards, including the 2017 Kids Crown Award for Best Pediatric Emergency Room and Best Pediatric Hospital in Palm Beach County.
