The Gastroenterology locum tenens opportunity in Pennsylvania…

-Duration: January – April, 2021. (Permanent position available)

Third week every month: Jan 18-22, Feb 15-19, March 15-19, April 12-16.

-Location: 30 miles north of Easton, Pennsylvania. There is an airport 4 miles from the hospital.

-Schedule: Monday-Friday. No weekend coverage.

8-9 hours on-site, 15-16 hours on-call each day.

Call: 24/7 weekday coverage on designated weeks.

-Scope: Inpatient duties only.

- Procedures Required: EGD and Colonoscopy with associated extensions (Dilation, Variceal Ligation, Hemostasis, Polypectomy, etc.)

- Volume: Daily average is four consults, six follow-up visits and four inpatient procedures daily.

On Call—Phone calls, Emergent endoscopy on hemodynamically unstable patients only (stable patients requiring endoscopy such as food bolus impactions transferred out).

-EMR: Epic

-Hospital: Level III trauma center, 200 beds

-Required: Board certified or board eligible with Pennsylvania license.
