Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established practice in Ohio/Kentucky border. EUS training/experience preferred.
Physician will have the ability to do EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, PEG Tub, Esophageal Manometry, and Capsule Endoscopy.

• Office Hours/Work Schedule
o Clinical office is open M-TH 8:00 a.m. – 5:00p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

• Call Schedule/CERP (if applicable)
o Approximately 1 in 3 call
o One weekend call per month, light call
o Call averages to 10-11 days per month.

• Case Load
o All physicians averaging - over 3500 per year, averaged 280 cases/month.
o 10-15 procedures per day in Endo Suite
o 20 patients per day in clinical office

• Equipment
o Olympus scopes and video equipment, everything is monitored
o New Provation Medical Documentation System (electronic medical record, sends orders to office, post op notes dictated and printed, consults to other physicians - helps with coding and billing). The Provation system does interface with the Olympus system.
o All 180 scopes, and soon to be getting 190 scopes. Brand new HD monitors in every room.
o All endo rooms are former OR rooms.

Teaching opportunities: Medical Center has Medical Students, Residents, and Advanced Practitioner trainees. Staff are eligible for Clinical Adjunct Faculty status with Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
