This Hospital is seeking a General Gastroenterologist to join their team. Currently, there is one Gastroenterologist and one NP that specializes in Gastroenterology. They are seeking a dynamic, professional, and productive individual that has interest in growing the practice. They prefer someone that has previous leadership experience, or someone that wants to be a leader. Currently, they are booking 4 months out for a patient to see the Gastroenterologist. They are seeking someone that can do 14 to 15 procedures per day, and someone that is open to doing scopes 80% of the time while 20% of the time will be spent doing inpatient/outpatient consults. They are open to the incoming candidate performing ERCP procedures if desired.

The Gastroenterology team is a highly efficient group in the endoscopy suite. They have one of the best, if not the best Anesthesiology group in the state of Massachusetts. The Hospital uses Meditech for their EMR system. They practice the team-based approach to medicine, the whole team works together to help provide the best possible healthcare to their patients.

The Schedule

• They are open to a 4 x 10 hour work week, or 5 x 8 hour work week. The call will never be more than 1:4, as they share call with a private based gastroenterologist

• Base salary of $550,000
• Lucrative RVU incentive plan
• Signing bonus of $50k
• Relocation of $10k
• 4 weeks of PTO
• 1 week of CME with $4,500 for expenses

• Retirement plans include an option of 403B with 2% match or 457B with the option to contribute 5% of salary or $18k total (both active after one year)
