Are you a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist looking for a flexible locum opportunity with predictable scheduling? We are seeking a provider to join a hospital-based team in Michigan for ongoing inpatient coverage.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Gastroenterology Fellowship Required
- Active Michigan License
- ACLS & BLS Required
- ERCP preferred but not required
- Clean malpractice and license history
Position Highlights

- Setting: 100% Inpatient

- Commitment: 1 week per month for a minimum of 6 months

Schedule
- 24-hour call coverage
- Saturday 7:00 AM through the following Saturday 6:59 AM
- In-house coverage from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Nighttime pager call coverage
- Call ratio of 1:4
- Approximately 2 hours of call-back time per week
Practice Details
- Adult and Geriatric patient population
- Hospital-based inpatient practice
- Average daily volume:
- 6-8 new consults
- Approximately 8 follow-up patients
- EMR: Epic
- Level II Trauma Center
