Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM, 24-hour coverage
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour coverage
- No weekend call

- December 21 – 25, 2026
Additional blocks may become available as the need continues through 2026.
You Must Have
- Board certification in Gastroenterology, or true board eligibility
- ERCP competency — this is non-negotiable for the assignment
- Active Michigan medical license
- Active DEA by start date
- Clean malpractice history, no exceptions for expedited credentialing
- NPDB self-query pulled within the last 30 days
Practice Environment
- Hospitalist support for admissions and floor management
- Two colorectal surgeons in the community
- GI clinic located less than half a mile from the hospital
- Primary Stroke Center and Neuroscience Center of Excellence; the region's only accredited Chest Pain Center
- Part of a 15-hospital integrated health network across Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio
Credentialing & Health Documentation
Be prepared to provide a current CV, Michigan license, board documentation, DEA, and a recent NPDB self-query. The facility also requires:
- Current-season influenza vaccination
- COVID-19 documentation or declination
- TB testing within 12 months plus questionnaire
- Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella — vaccine series or quantitative titers
- Tdap within the last 10 years
Travel & Logistics
- Local and drive-in candidates preferred — airfare is not covered
- Approved lodging and travel follow the client's travel policy
- Lodging cannot be booked through third-party travel sites
