We have a GI Locums position opening in Northern CA (Shasta Cascade Region). If you enjoy nature, This is arguably one of the best temporary assignments in the country. It boasts over 300 days of sunshine per year and is surrounded on three sides by millions of acres of state and national forests.
Scope of the Job:
Scope of the Job:
- Gastroenterology expertise, including procedural skills
- ERCP experience (preferred)
- Ability to perform all GI procedures
- EMR: Cerner
- Patient Population: 18+ yrs
- Number of beds: 265
Qualifications
DEA license for California
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
Current ACLS certification
Completion of a GI Fellowship
Minimum of 2 years of post-fellowship clinical experience in Gastroenterology
Prior experience providing inpatient services and handling emergent GI procedures
Familiarity with Cerner EMR system is preferred
