Position OverviewSeeking experienced gastroenterologist to perform scheduled general GI outpatient hospital procedures, 3 weeks per month. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, no holidays, no call. EMR: Epic Trauma Level I Procedures Only - No Clinic 30 min lunch block, On Wednesday there is a later start at 8:30 AM
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform scheduled general GI outpatient hospital procedures. Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift.
Candidate RequirementsBoard certified in Gastroenterology with active and unrestricted license in North Carolina. Fellowship in gastroenterology required. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Hospital privileges required. Estimated credentialing time: 60-90 days.
Organizational HighlightsTeaching hospital with comprehensive support services including 1 RN and 1 PA/NP on staff, plus office staff support. Epic EMR system. Holidays observed: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
