Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
Perform scheduled general GI outpatient hospital proceduresMonday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
No holidays and no call required
Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
3 weeks per month schedule
Board certification required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Fellowship training required
Trauma Level 1 facility
Required procedural skills include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
Small bowel biopsy required
Lower GI endoscopy required
Sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) required
Colonoscopy with biopsy and excision of polyp required
