Clinical Role:

• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible gastroenterologist

• Locum tenens opportunity

• Coverage needed: October 15 at 5:00 p.m. through October 20 at 7:00 a.m.

• Seeking a provider who can cover this specific block; additional coverage opportunities may become available

• Inpatient only

• 24-hour call coverage

• Patient volume described as very low, with approximately 7–9 emergency consults per 24 hours

• Bread and butter gastroenterology, including ER emergencies such as GI bleeds and obstructions

• Round on your own patients and perform emergency consultations

• No advanced procedures required

• Solo GI coverage with no APP support

• EMR: Epic

• Provation utilized for GI procedure documentation

• Paid online Epic training or test-out required before starting

• Paid in-person orientation lasting approximately 1–2 hours

• Extremely fast credentialing available
