Position Details:
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI
- Position: Locum Tenens Physician
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Reason: Vacancy – Long-Term Permanent
- Providers Needed: 1
- Setting: Outpatient & Inpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Call: No call
- Schedule Flexibility: Open to week-on/week-off
- Coverage: Clinic and scheduled procedures only
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Schedule & Clinical Details:
- Typically 1 day clinic + 4 procedure days, but schedule can be flexible.
- Inpatient census averages 28–30 patients.
- ICU/IMCU census averages 3–4 patients.
- Approximately 10–14 procedures per day.
- ERCP and EUS are not required and are not performed at the facility.
Requirements:
- Board Certification – Required
- Fellowship – Required
- BLS – Required
- ACLS – Required
- Provider must be willing to supervise APPs.
