Job description
We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician - Gastroenterology in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Start Date: 11/02/2026
End Date: 13 Weeks Assignment
Position Details:
- Acute Care Hospital setting
- No call required
- 9-hour shifts
- Consistent weekday schedule
- Visa sponsorship not available
Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal conditions
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, radiologists, and other clinical staff
Required Procedures:
- Endoscopic procedures based on facility scope and credentialing requirements
On-Call/Weekends: No call
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology through ABIM or AOA - Required
- Active and Unrestricted Wisconsin Medical License - Required
- Gastroenterology experience in a hospital or clinical setting - Required
