Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy (EGD).
• Manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide colorectal cancer screening and preventive GI care.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, nutrition, and preventive health.
• Maintain accurate medical records and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Current, unrestricted Georgia medical license or eligibility.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care.
