Locums - Prescott, Arizona, Gastroenterology Opening (IMLC Accepted)

Coverage Dates: November 1, 2026–January 3, 2027 Expected Duration: Ongoing dates anticipated as schedules are released Reason for Coverage: Physician leaving the organization

Coverage & Setting:

• Outpatient Gastroenterology procedures with 24-hour call coverage
• 6–14 call days per month
• Scheduled outpatient procedures: 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. while on call
• Monday–Friday clinic operates 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; potential clinic coverage may be added in the future
• Current outpatient procedure patients are evaluated by NPs in the clinic prior to procedures

Clinical Scope & Procedures:

• Colonoscopy – Required
• EGD – Required
• ERCP and EUS – Preferred, but not required
• Advanced Endoscopy experience helpful, but not required

Support & Systems:

• Medical Assistant support
• EMR: Cerner and Provation
• EMR training required

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology – Required
• Active Arizona license or IMLC with LOQ in hand at time of submission – Required
• Gastroenterology fellowship training – Required
• Active ACLS – Highly Preferred
• Active DEA – Highly Preferred
