Facility:
This state-of-the-art 357-bed tertiary referral center, opened in July 2023, serves a regional population of approximately 490,000 as a physician-led, integrated healthcare delivery system. The facility features a dedicated Digestive Health Center with an outpatient endoscopy unit, 8 endoscopy suites, a motility lab, and two dedicated inpatient endoscopy rooms, supported by a robust team of advanced practice providers and an IM hospitalist service.Opportunity:
Physician - GastroenterologyJob Details:
- Seeking BE/BC General Gastroenterologists as part of a planned section expansion
- Position accommodates subspecialty interests including IBD, liver disease, esophageal diseases, and more
- Perform a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures with opportunities to expand based on physician interest
- ERCP and EUS experience not required
- Goal of minimum 1:8 call schedule
- All GI hospital admissions managed by IM hospitalist service; GI functions as a consultative service
- 11 advanced practice providers support outpatient visits and inpatient GI consultation service, including weekends
- Join a current group of four general gastroenterologists, one GI hospitalist, and two additional general gastroenterologists joining in 2026
- Group goal of 8-9 general gastroenterologists and 3 advanced endoscopists
- University of Minnesota medical school affiliation with teaching, research, and outreach opportunities available
- BC/BE in Gastroenterology required
