Facility:
This 132-bed tertiary referral center features a state-of-the-art endoscopy unit and a 24-hour Emergency Department with Level II trauma designation. The facility is affiliated with the University of North Dakota medical school, offering teaching and outreach opportunities, and is supported by a dedicated IM hospitalist service that manages all inpatient GI admissions.Opportunity:
Physician - GastroenterologyJob Details:
- Seeking one BE/BC Gastroenterologist as part of a planned expansion of the Gastroenterology section
- Join a current group of two Gastroenterologists working in a 100% consultative practice
- GI functions as a consultative service with all inpatient GI admissions managed by an IM hospitalist service
- Five NPs/PAs support both the outpatient GI clinic and the inpatient GI consultation service
- State-of-the-art Digestive Health Center performing a full spectrum of endoscopy procedures
- Advanced endoscopic practice including ERCP with EUS capability - ERCP is required
- Olympus 190 scopes with CO2 utilized, along with Provation and Epic software
- 1:4 call schedule
- University of North Dakota medical school affiliation with teaching and outreach opportunities available
- Tort reform state with no buy-in, no malpractice, and no overhead
- Ability to live in an urban or rural environment and be minutes from work
- BC/BE in Gastroenterology required
