We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterology Physician (MD/DO) for a 6-month locum assignment in Bellingham, Washington. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient GI care with a strong focus on ERCP and advanced gastroenterology procedures.
Assignment: 6 months
Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
Call: Required
Job Responsibilities
Outpatient GI consultations
Endoscopy procedures
ERCP
Advanced gastroenterology procedures
Patient evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
Collaboration with other GI physicians and clinical support staff
Qualifications
✅ Board Certified in Gastroenterology
✅ ERCP experience required
✅ Active Washington medical license preferred
✅ IMLC accepted
✅ ACLS required
✅ EPIC experience
✅ Relevant GI clinical case logs from the past 24 months
✅ Minimum 50 successful ERCP procedures within the past 2 years
✅ Ability to provide documentation supporting requested GI privileges
Working Hours
Alternatively, 8–9-hour daytime shifts may be available for ambulatory clinic/endoscopy coverage
Standard clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Call includes 4 hours of gratis coverage
