Overview
A hospital in West Virginia is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a 6-month locum tenens assignment beginning in October 2026. This opportunity includes clinic, endoscopy, and call coverage for 2–3 weeks per month, with multiple providers being considered to meet the ongoing need.

Assignment Details
- Setting: Clinic and Hospital
- Start Date: October 2026
- Contract Length: 6 months
- Schedule: Clinic plus procedural coverage, 2–3 weeks per month
- Call: Scheduled call coverage required
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient Gastroenterology clinic services
- Perform general GI procedures
- Perform endoscopy, ERCP, and EUS
- Provide inpatient consultation and scheduled call coverage
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team in both clinic and hospital settings
Requirements
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Active West Virginia medical license or IMLC
- DEA
- BLS
- ACLS
- ERCP and EUS experience required
- Endoscopy experience required
