Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a Gastroenterologist in the Carmel/Fishkill area. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient and inpatient care, with a primary focus on outpatient services. We are seeking a dedicated professional to become an integral part of our GI team, providing exceptional care and supporting subspecialty interests.
Responsibilities
- Structure the role as an employed position within the GI team.
- Define scope of practice to include both outpatient and inpatient work, with emphasis on outpatient care.
- Ensure general GI comprises at least 50% of the role.
- Identify opportunities to support subspecialty interests such as Advanced Endoscopy, motility, and IBD.
- Coordinate group structure to maintain cross-call coverage at a 1:15 ratio.
- Centralize inpatient responsibilities at a single hospital location.
Requirements
- Will consider Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologists.
