Clinical Responsibilities:

The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care, including:

• New patient consultations and follow-up visits
  
• Evaluation and management of gastrointestinal disorders
  
• Office-based endoscopic procedures
  
• Development of individualized treatment plans
  
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers as needed
  

Required Procedural Experience:

Candidates should be experienced in performing:

• Upper GI endoscopy (EGD) with biopsy
  
• Foreign body removal
  
• Endoscopic treatment of GI bleeding
  
• Variceal injection and management
  
• PEG tube placement
  
• Esophageal dilation and manometry
  
• Esophageal manometry interpretation
  
• Small bowel biopsy
  
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
  
• Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy
  
• Liver biopsy
  
• Management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tubes
  

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
  
• Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship
  
• BLS certification required
  
• ABLS certification required
  
• Eligible for medical licensure in Montana
  
• Credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days
