Assignment Details
Start Date: August 19, 2026
End Date: Ongoing
Initial Coverage: August 19-31, 2026 (orientation prior to start)
Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
Schedule: Weekday procedural shifts with shared weeknight beeper call and weekend call
Setting: Inpatient
Support: 2 APPs and dedicated procedural staff
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 45-120 days with temporary privileges available
Clinical Details
Advanced GI procedures
Upper endoscopy (EGD)
Colonoscopy
ERCP
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS preferred but not required)
Flexible sigmoidoscopy
Hospital consults and inpatient GI coverage
Little to no outpatient clinic responsibilities
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist
Fellowship trained
Any state medical license accepted (Minnesota obtained during credentialing)
Active DEA
