Position Overview
A growing Gastroenterology program in the Tri-Cities region of Virginia is seeking two Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to join an established single-specialty practice. This opportunity offers a predominantly outpatient practice, dedicated procedural time, shared call responsibilities, and the ability to build a thriving patient panel while serving a growing community with significant demand for GI services.
Qualifications
* MD or DO
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
* Eligible for Virginia Medical Licensure
* New graduates encouraged to apply
* J-1 and H-1B visa sponsorship available

Clinical Responsibilities
* Outpatient Gastroenterology consultations
* Preventive GI care and screening
* Colonoscopy procedures
* Upper endoscopy (EGD)
* Evaluation and management of gastrointestinal disorders
* Inpatient consultations as needed
* Follow-up and longitudinal patient management
* Collaborative care with referring providers and specialists
Schedule & Call
* Monday–Friday
* Hours:
* 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
* Shared call coverage
* Call shared with surgical providers
* Dedicated operating/procedural block time
Practice Support
* Established single-specialty practice environment
