Assignment Details:
- Dates: Sep 4, 2026 (1 PM) – Sep 8 2026 (6 AM)
- Schedule: 24-hour beeper call (30-min response time)
- Setting: Inpatient (rounding & admissions required)
- EMR: Epic (Lumens)
Clinical Scope:
- GI consults, admissions, and call coverage
- Procedures include:
- Upper & Lower GI endoscopy (biopsy, polypectomy, bleeding control)
- Colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy
- PEG placement, liver biopsy, esophageal procedures
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Gastroenterology + Fellowship
- Active MS license or IMLC
- ACLS & BLS
Additional Info:
- No temp privileges (approx. 120-day credentialing)
- Travel, lodging & malpractice covered
- Level III Trauma, Stroke-certified facility
