POSITION SUMMARY
The Department seeks a gastroenterology specialist to join a collaborative group providing advanced endoscopic and clinical services. The role supports a large referral network and offers a balanced schedule with substantial time away from practice. The position includes a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures within a growing program.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in gastroenterology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
• Interest in advanced endoscopic procedures and outpatient/inpatient GI care.

• Ability to perform a wide range of gastrointestinal diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Skill in managing diverse GI conditions in both ambulatory and procedural settings.
• Effective collaboration with physicians and advanced practice professionals.
• Commitment to high-quality specialty care and patient access.
• Capacity to support a busy practice within a large referral system.

• Gastroenterology practice supported by a multidisciplinary team.
• Procedural services including endoscopy and advanced interventions.
• Access to modern diagnostic tools and industry-standard EMR.
• Large referral base from multiple clinical sites.
• New endoscopy facility under development on the Kentucky campus.
