POSITION SUMMARY
This role provides comprehensive gastroenterology services within a large, collaborative digestive health program. The position supports primarily outpatient care with scheduled inpatient rotations and offers flexibility in structuring clinical duties. The role includes participation in advanced endoscopic procedures, use of modern diagnostic platforms, and engagement with a multidisciplinary network.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine and/or Gastroenterology.
• Residency training in internal medicine.
• Training or experience in Gastroenterology.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Mexico.
• Commitment to team-based, patient-focused clinical practice.

COMPETENCIES
• Ability to manage a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions, including liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and functional disorders.
• Skill in performing endoscopic procedures and utilizing advanced GI technologies.
• Capacity to balance outpatient care with periodic inpatient responsibilities.
• Effective collaboration with surgical, radiologic, and hospital-based teams.
• Ability to adapt workflows within a flexible scheduling model.

• Multidisciplinary GI team including general and advanced gastroenterology clinicians and APPs.
• Primarily outpatient practice with structured inpatient rotations and telehealth support.
• Use of advanced imaging technology, modern endoscopic systems, and industry-standard EMR.
• Collaboration with surgical, radiologic, and critical care teams.
• Administrative support, onboarding resources, and mentorship integrated into the practice.
