24hr Advanced Endoscopy GI Call Coverage- June 26-28th- Lakewood, CO--URGENT

Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity Available in Colorado this Summer, Ongoing 1 week per month

Schedule / Availability

• All shifts are 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM the following day.
• Current coverage dates:
  • June 26–28
    
• Ongoing need for approximately 5–7 days per month.
• Trauma Designation: Level 1 Trauma Center

• Patient Population: Adult, Geriatric, Adolescent
• Daily Volume:
  • 8–10 new consults and follow-ups
  • 5–8 scopes per day
• GI service functions as a consult service only (no admissions).
• Pediatric trauma patients treated only if age 15+ and at least 50 kilograms. Otherwise, pediatric patients are not admitted.

Required Procedures / Duties

• ERCP
• EUS
• Endoscopy
• GI bleed management
• Evaluation and treatment of GI conditions
• General inpatient GI consult coverage

Facility Support

• 24/7 intensivist coverage onsite
• 24/7 hospitalist coverage onsite
• 24/7 trauma services onsite
  

Credentialing Information

• Standard credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
• Emergency privileges may be available within 1–2 weeks for clean files
• Credentialing at additional affiliated facilities may be required

Submission Requirements

• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Gastroenterology Fellowship completed
• Active Colorado License or active IMLC LOQ at time of submission
• Active DEA required
• Ability to perform ERCP and EUS
• Availability for listed coverage dates
• Ability to provide ongoing monthly availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Local/drive-in providers strongly preferred

Compensation

-1099/Hourly or Daily Rate+ Hourly Call Back Rate- TBD
-Medical Malpractice Coverage Provided
