Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Bellingham, WA. This is a 6-month locum tenens opportunity covering both ambulatory clinic/endoscopy and inpatient call. Please see below for more information.
Beds: 253
Trauma Level: Adult II/III/IV
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
24-hour call shifts (weekday and weekend)
Rounding and inpatient consults
Inpatient and outpatient GI procedures including ERCP
Patient demographics: Adults 18+
Patients per day: Clinic 16, Outpatient Endoscopy Center 14–16; hospital census varies
Qualifications
WA state license preferred; IMLC accepted
ACLS required
ERCP required (minimum 50 ERCPs in past 24 months)
Case log for last 24 months required
Working Hours
Weekday and weekend call coverage
Expected duration: 6 months
