Job description
We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens position in Bellingham, WA. This is a 6-month opportunity covering inpatient and outpatient GI services, including procedural care. Please see below for more information.
253-bed acute care hospital
Trauma Level: Adult II/III/IV
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Outpatient clinic coverage (approximately 16 patients per day)
Outpatient endoscopy (14–16 cases per day)
ERCP procedures
Management of variable hospital census
Adult patient population (18+)
Collaboration with other GI physicians on staff
Qualifications
Washington State medical license required (IMLC accepted)
ACLS required
ERCP competency required
Case log for the last 24 months required
Working Hours
24-hour call coverage
Expected assignment duration: 6 months
