🏥 Job Overview
Locum Tenens Gastroenterology opportunity in a hospital and clinic-based setting. The role includes inpatient consults along with outpatient endoscopy procedures in a structured, team-supported digestive health service line.
📅 Schedule & Duration
- Duration: 6 months (approx. 13 weeks equivalent coverage pattern)
- Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
- 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
- Call: Required
- Orientation: Non-billable hours included
Job Responsibilities
Colonoscopy
EGD (upper endoscopy)
Inpatient gastroenterology consults
Outpatient clinic evaluations and follow-ups
Management of general GI conditions
Coordination with APPs and clinical staff
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania medical license required
DEA registration required
Minimum 2 years of GI experience
Strong proficiency in endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy & EGD)
Working Hours
7:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
Inpatient + outpatient endoscopy (EGD/Colonoscopy)
Call required (as scheduled)
