- 🏥 Provide inpatient gastroenterology care in a hospital setting
- 👨⚕️ Manage adult patients (18+)
- 🔍 Perform general GI procedures (no ERCP or EUS required)
- 📋 Handle consults, rounding, and patient management
- 📞 Participate in 24-hour call coverage & weekend call
- ⏰ Work 10-hour day shifts with 7-day block scheduling
- 🤝 Collaborate with onsite anesthesiology and care team
- 💻 Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and workflow
Job Responsibilities
📋 Conduct inpatient consults and daily rounding
👨⚕️ Diagnose and manage adult GI conditions (18+)
📞 Provide 24-hour call coverage, including weekends
🏥 Deliver high-quality patient care in a hospital setting
🤝 Collaborate with anesthesiology and multidisciplinary teams
💻 Complete timely documentation using Epic EMR
⚡ Respond to urgent GI cases and patient needs efficiently
✨ Play a key role in delivering consistent, patient-focused gastroenterology care.
Qualifications
📍 Eligible for or holding an active Pennsylvania medical license
💊 Valid DEA certification
📈 At least 1 year of clinical experience in gastroenterology
🏥 Comfortable in a hospital-based inpatient setting
📞 Ability to manage call coverage and acute care cases
💻 Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus
🤝 Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Working Hours
🗓️ Start Date: May 10, 2026
🔄 Ongoing assignment with consistent coverage needs
📅 7-day block schedule: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM
🌙 Weekend coverage: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
🕖 Day shifts: 10 hours (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
📞 24-hour call coverage required during assigned blocks
⚖️ Mix of scheduled procedures + on-call responsibilities
