Locums – Lebanon, Pennsylvania | Gastroenterology Float Pool Opportunity

Clinical Role Join a robust gastroenterology locums opportunity offering a mix of inpatient care, procedures, and continuous call coverage in a hospital-based setting. This role is ideal for providers seeking consistent monthly work with a balance of procedural and consultative responsibilities.

Start Date: May 10, 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing

Position Highlights:

• Consistent 2–3 weeks per month coverage

• Blend of inpatient consults, rounding, and procedures

• Daily procedural volume with both inpatient and some outpatient cases

• No ERCP or EUS required

• Stable hospital environment with steady workflow

Schedule & Coverage

• Coverage needed: 2–3 weeks per month

• Monday–Friday:

  • 7:00 AM start

  • Rounding, consults, and procedures

• Call coverage:

  • 24-hour call Friday 5:00 PM – Friday 5:00 PM

Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Hospital (163 beds)

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing inpatient GI consults and rounding

• Performing daily procedures (inpatient and limited outpatient)

• Providing continuous call coverage

• Evaluating and treating a variety of GI conditions

Procedures:

• General GI procedures

• 4–6 outpatient procedures per day (in addition to inpatient cases)

• No ERCP or EUS required

Support & Technology

• Hospital-based support staff available

• Efficient workflow for both inpatient and procedural care

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania license – required

• IMLC accepted

• BLS & ACLS required

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
