Locums – York, Pennsylvania | Gastroenterology Float Pool Opportunity

Clinical Role Step into a high-volume gastroenterology locums opportunity providing a mix of procedures and call coverage in a large hospital setting. This role is ideal for providers seeking consistent block scheduling with procedural work and inpatient responsibilities.

Start Date: May 10, 2026 Assignment Length: Ongoing

Position Highlights:

• 7-day block scheduling (Monday–Monday)

• Combination of procedures and call coverage

• Large hospital with strong clinical infrastructure

• No ERCP or EUS required

• Consistent monthly coverage with additional weekend needs

Schedule & Coverage

• 7-day blocks: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

• 24-hour call coverage during assignment

• Daily schedule includes ~10-hour days

• OR start time: 7:30 AM

• Coverage needed: ~1 week per month + weekends

Clinical Details & Responsibilities Setting: Hospital (593 beds)

Patient population: Adults (18+)

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing GI procedures in the OR

• Managing inpatient consults and rounding

• Providing continuous call coverage

• Evaluating and treating a wide range of GI conditions

Procedures:

• General GI procedures

• No ERCP or EUS required

Support & Technology

• Anesthesiology onsite for procedural support

• Large hospital with established GI services

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active Pennsylvania license – required

• IMLC accepted

• DEA required

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
