### Locums | Gastroenterology | Clinic + Call | Prestonsburg, KY (IMLC accepted) ### Why This Role
- Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
- Bread and butter GI with ERCP required
- Ongoing coverage with potential for long-term continuity
- Support from APPs and clinic staff
- Manageable patient volume ### Assignment Details
- Start Date: ASAP

- Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
- Setting: Outpatient + Inpatient
- Schedule: TBD
- EMR: MediTech
- Patients per Day: ~20
- Call Type: Beeper
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Phone Consults: ~3/day
- Patients Seen on Call: ~5
- Admissions: No
- Credentialing: ~60 days
- Will accept multiple providers: No ### Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active KY license or IMLC
- ACLS and BLS
- Clean history preferred ### Clinical Details
- General GI procedures required: - Upper endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, variceal injection, cautery) - ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic) – required - Colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy - Flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy - Small bowel biopsy - Liver biopsy
- PEG placement preferred
- No EUS required
- No supervision required ### Compensation
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
