###Locums | Gastroenterology | Clinic + Call | Tucson, AZ ###Why This Role * Inpatient and procedural coverage with high procedural volume * Support from experienced RNs; focused procedural assignments * Call coverage included with clear structure for patient management ###Assignment Details * Start Date: ASAP * End Date: Ongoing * Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call * Schedule: Regular hospital hours (8 am - noon) plus call, beeper, 30-minute response, single call ratio * Patients per Day: 10-20 * Call Details: Includes phone consults, admissions, and procedures during call * EMR: Cerner ###Requirements * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology * Active AZ license * ACLS and BLS * Clean history ###Clinical Details * Scope: Inpatient gastroenterology care with procedural focus * Typical Procedures: * Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery/laser, variceal injection * ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic preferred) * PEG placement * Small bowel biopsy * Lower GI endoscopy including colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy (flexible/rigid) * Colonoscopy with biopsy or polyp excision * Optional: Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management ###Compensation * Rates: Facility is accepting bids * Malpractice: Provided * Travel: Reimbursed
