Shift: 24-hour call & daytime procedures
Schedule: 2 weeks per month
- Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call)
- 8-hour daily shifts M-F for procedures and inpatient care
- Scheduled procedures: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM Wed, Thurs, Fri (occasional Monday)
- Clinic: 4 hours/day as needed
Job Overview:
Locum Gastroenterologist covering both inpatient and outpatient care. You’ll perform scheduled procedures in the morning, handle inpatient rounds in the afternoon, and take 24-hour call as scheduled. No EUS or ERCP required. Work alongside a skilled support staff, including anesthesia professionals.
Patient Population: Adults, adolescents, and geriatrics
Hospital Beds: 132
EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Pennsylvania license (IMLC accepted)
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in standard GI procedures
- Comfortable with inpatient care and call coverage
