We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for an ongoing locum opportunity in Pennsylvania. This role offers a balanced mix of procedures, inpatient care, and call coverage with a flexible 2-weeks-per-month schedule. Work in a supportive hospital environment with anesthesia support and a steady patient flow.
Job Responsibilities
Perform GI procedures and endoscopic evaluations 🩺
Provide inpatient consults and patient management
Participate in 24-hour call coverage ⏰
Manage clinic patients and follow-ups as needed
Collaborate with anesthesia and healthcare teams
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology ✔️
Active Pennsylvania license (or willingness to obtain)
DEA certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience
Working Hours
2 weeks per month (Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM) 📅
8-hour weekday shifts with inpatient rounding
Morning procedures (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM) on select days
24-hour call coverage included
Skills
Strong procedural and diagnostic GI expertise 🔬
Experience with inpatient and outpatient care
Excellent communication and teamwork 🤝
Familiarity with EPIC EMR
