Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity with a mix of procedures, inpatient care, and call coverage.
This assignment offers structured procedural time, strong support, and predictable scheduling, ideal for providers seeking a balanced GI role without advanced procedures.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10% of general gastroenterology locum roles (2026 market data)
$3570 hrs include + callback
Typical Week Structure
- Morning: Procedures (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM)
- Afternoon: Inpatient consults / rounding
- Call: Continuous 24-hour coverage (Mon–Mon)
- Weekends: Rounding + procedures as needed
Assignment Highlights
- 2 weeks per month (predictable block scheduling)
- 24-hour call + structured day work
- No advanced GI required
- Anesthesia support onsite
