Position Overview
One of our Partners is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for a locum tenens opportunity in a hospital-based setting combining procedures, inpatient care, and structured call coverage.
This assignment offers predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and a clear compensation structure, making it ideal for providers seeking a balanced GI role with consistent procedural volume.
Provider Pay Ranking: Top ~10% of gastroenterology locum roles (2026 market data) $420 / hour
Assignment Highlights
- 2 weeks per month (predictable block scheduling)
- Clear separation of hourly day work and call compensation
- ERCP preferred but not required
- Anesthesia support in-house
- EMR: Epic

Job Responsibilities
- Perform GI procedures and endoscopy
- Manage inpatient consults and admissions
- Provide overnight call coverage
- Coordinate care with hospital teams
- Document in Epic
Skills & Experience
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Epic experience preferred
