Required Skills
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology (BC or BE)
- Valid State Medical License (PA or applicable state)
- DEA Certification
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Proficiency in procedures such as ERCP; EUS experience is a plus
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience performing advanced endoscopic procedures
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly EPIC
- Adaptability to a flexible schedule, including on-call duties
Preferred Education and Experience
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Prior hospital-based gastroenterology practice
- Proven history of efficient patient management and procedural expertise
Other Requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensure and credentials
- Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule
- Ability to adhere to hospital policies and compliance standards
- Travel reimbursements and licensure support available as applicable
