Job description
Elite opportunity for Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to join a hospital-based inpatient team in Des Moines, IA. Locum-to-Perm role with high pay and flexible scheduling. Ideal for providers proficient in ERCP, with EUS highly preferred.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform 3–4 outpatient procedures daily, plus inpatient procedures and consults
• Adult patient population
• Utilize EMR: Cerner
• Collaborate with hospital staff and contribute to high-quality patient care
Qualifications
• Iowa medical license or IMLC
• ACLS certification
• Proficient in ERCP (EUS highly preferred)
• COVID vaccinated
• Clean malpractice and background (NPDB self-query required within last 30 days)
• Willing to work inpatient and pursue permanent position
