ARK Physician Staffing is seeking candidates who are Board Certified in Gastroenterology for an opportunity in Tucson, Arizona.

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient (both required)

Credentialing: Temporary privileges available
Job Responsibilities
Inpatient consults & rounding
Outpatient clinic/procedures
Patient Volume: 10–20 patients per shift
Admissions: Required
Rounding: Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
Working Hours
Call Type: Beeper call
Call Coverage: Both inpatient + outpatient
Call Ratio: Single coverage
Response Time: 30 minutes
24-Hour Call Expectations:
Phone consults: ~5
Patients seen: 5–20
Admissions: 2–10
Call-back rate: ~20%
Skills
- Lower GI endoscopy
- Sigmoidoscopy (flexible, rigid)
- Colonoscopy (with biopsy, with excision of polyp)
- Upper GI endoscopy
- ERCP (preferred, not required)
