Job description
Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join a well established, physician led multi specialty group in southeastern Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a high volume outpatient practice with access to a strong referral base and a collaborative team of experienced providers.
The practice provides comprehensive care across intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic, and biliary conditions. Physicians will perform routine endoscopic procedures with opportunities to incorporate advanced skills such as ERCP, depending on experience and interest.
The position includes a mix of outpatient care and consultative inpatient responsibilities at a nearby community hospital. Endoscopy procedures are primarily performed in a modern office based suite with full clinical support, with complex cases handled in a hospital setting.
Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
Manage a range of gastrointestinal conditions
Provide inpatient consults as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and advanced practice providers
Qualifications
Fellowship training in Gastroenterology required
Comfortable with general GI procedures
Advanced procedural skills such as ERCP are a plus
Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts
Working Hours
Combination of outpatient clinic and procedural time
