Position Overview
One of our Partners in New York is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to provide one week of coverage per month.
The assignment combines inpatient consults, elective procedures, and call coverage in a well-supported GI program with APP support.
Typical schedule:

Daily shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Mix of procedures and inpatient consults

24-hour call coverage on select days
Provider Pay Range: (Top 10% Locum Gastroenterology Market – 2026 data)
Estimated weekly earnings may exceed $22,000+ per coverage week.

Job Responsibilities

Perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures
-
Manage inpatient gastroenterology consults

Provide urgent and emergent endoscopic care

Conduct elective outpatient procedures

Collaborate with APP staff
-
Provide call coverage for GI emergencies
Skills & Experience
Required procedures include:

Upper endoscopy

Colonoscopy
Experience managing:
