Coverage Needed
- Schedule: One 7-day stretch per month (Monday 7am – Monday 7am)
- Clinic hours: 8am – 11:20am (flexible)
- Open Dates:
- April 20, 2026 (7am) – April 27, 2026 (7am)
- May 18, 2026 (7am) – May 25, 2026 (7am)
- Beyond May, flexible on which week the locum can cover, as long as it is a Monday – Monday stretch and as long as it is consistently one week a month!
Clinical Details
- 24-hour hospital call coverage
- Perform scheduled procedures in the Endo lab (half-day block), answer consults as they arise, and cover 2-3 half days of clinic during the week
- Clinic volume: 3 patients/hour
- Clinic is required so that the Physician can follow the patients that they have seen in the hospital and/or has performed scheduled procedures on
- Required Procedures: EGD, Colonoscopy, Flex Sig
- Half day of Endo: 8 cases a day
- EMR System: EPIC
- Support Staff: 1 PA, 1 LPN or 1 MA, and 1 Nurse Practitioner for inpatient initial consult support while physician is in Endo or office (Monday–Friday, 7am–1pm)
- Endo Support: 1 RN, 1 CRNA, 1 tech
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- South Carolina Medical License
- CSR required before onboarding and credentialing
- DEA must be permanently registered in South Carolina
